Resident Evil™ Showcase Uncovers a Deeper Look at the Terror and Action of
Resident Evil™ Requiem!

Gameplay & Story
FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft and Legendary DSO agent Leon Kennedy star as the dual protagonists of Resident Evil Requiem, offering players a unique combination of death-defying action and spine-tingling survival horror. As revealed previously, both protagonists will be playable in first-person perspective for deeper immersion, and third-person perspective for more dynamic action, swappable at any point during the game.

• Leon Kennedy: Leon, experienced in both hand-to-hand combat and firearms, is investigating a series of suspicious deaths. While navigating this deadly situation, he’s able to wield a variety of weapons and execute close-quarters combat maneuvers with the all-new hatchet. Perfect Leon’s skills as you time your moves to parry enemy attacks, turn the tables as you attack with a chainsaw seized from an enemy, and pull off exhilarating finishing moves to deliver the final blow.

• Grace Ashcroft: Grace begins her survival journey in a sanatorium overrun with zombies, requiring fierce judgment when deciding which enemies to fight and which to avoid—limited resources and carrying capacity force the player to make critical decisions that can mean life or death. Acquiring a special device allows Grace to craft vital items using infected blood, unlocking the opportunity to diversify your attack strategies. The Requiem assault revolver, a special nod to the game’s name, is a custom gun boasting immense power and will likely be your last resort for survival. With limited ammo, will you use it right away or save your ammo for the horrors ahead?

• Zombies: The zombies in this game have lost their minds, however some seem fixated on actions from their lives before death. A chef obsessed with cooking, a singer who keeps singing, a janitor who polishes mirrors endlessly...Could you exploit their behaviors to outmaneuver them?

• Elpis: Elpis is the keyword that connects everything: the death of Grace's mother, Alyssa Ashcroft; Grace's own past; and the story connected to Leon. It's up to you, the player, to unravel the mystery that leads to the truth behind the events depicted in Resident Evil Requiem.

• Difficulty: Players can choose from multiple difficulties when experiencing the horror and action. Casual offers aim assist, plus more forgiving player health and enemy durability. Standard (Classic) heightens the tension, requiring Ink Ribbons for each save while playing as Grace, demanding strategy not only in resource management but also when to save.

Mega Man™: Dual Override Planned For a 2027 Release

In 2027, Capcom will also celebrate the 40^th anniversary of the Mega Man series. The Blue Bomber first began busting bots in 1987 and instantly captivated players with rewarding gameplay, colorful characters, and rockin’ music. Since then, the franchise has sold more than 43 million units worldwide and jumped beyond the world of games into comics, TV series, and more.

Hi-Fi RUSH OPENS PRE-ORDERS FOR THREE PHYSICAL CONSOLE EDITIONS

KRAFTON, Inc. has announced that pre-orders are now open for the physical console editions of Hi-Fi RUSH, the critically acclaimed rhythm-action game celebrated for its style, music-driven combat, and standout animation. The physical release is available in partnership with Limited Run Games, the premier publisher of collector-focused physical video games.
 

Hi-Fi RUSH blends fast-paced action with rhythm-based combat and exploration, syncing every punch, dodge, and environmental beat to its energetic soundtrack. The game has earned an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam and received major industry recognition, including Best Audio Design at The Game Awards 2023 and the Animation Award at the 20th BAFTA Games Awards.
 

The physical console release will be available in three distinct editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, each designed to appeal to fans and collectors alike:
 

• Rhythm Edition: Includes the physical game disc, standard case, booklet, three DLC costume packs, and additional in-game character costumes.

• Smidge Edition: Includes everything in the Rhythm Edition, plus a three-disc soundtrack featuring developer liner notes and a custom storage box themed after the character Smidge.

BLADE & SOUL NEO’S NEW DARK LANCER CLASS BURSTS WITH DEMONIC ENERGY IN NEW UPDATE

In anticipation of its global first anniversary, MMO publisher and developer NC America will release Dark Lancer, the new female character class for Blade & Soul NEO, on PC (PURPLE, Steam) Tuesday, January 20.

Wielding a long lance to attack both melee and ranged enemies, the Dark Lancer class specializes in stacking and releasing powerful bursts of Demonic Energy, a new resource within Blade & Soul. Expect fast-paced combos, dark energy attacks, and significant skill customization for both PvE and PvP. Also, prepare for a new zone, four new field bosses, and two new dungeons.

The new zone, “Dawncrest”, serves as the celestial training grounds for the new field bosses, which include the Guardian of the Forest of Wisdom (“Mookulk”), Guardian of the Divine Fist Wasteland (“Ujara”), and Guardian of the Earthbreaker Mountains (“Phantom Stone Sentinel”). Each of these ancient beasts is entrusted with protecting Dawncrest and aiding worthy warriors with their training.

Players will encounter the new world boss, the Divine Tusked Behemoth, a sacred creature infused with the power of a mysterious relic that fell in Dawncrest, and can explore the two new dungeons, the Crimson Steel Arena and the Phantasmic Beast Arena, in the free update
